What's up friends, family and local beer enthusiasts?! I take great pleasure in announcing that the first step has been taken--the order has been placed for the new half-barrel brewery which will be residing at the Dagwood location. After many months of trying to decide what brewing setup would best suit our needs, working out financial issues and making room to store a system that is much larger than the current 5 gallon system, the leap was made. The brew system is a Morebeer™ 2050 which is equipped with a 26 gallon mash/lauter tun, 26 gallon hot-liquor-tank, and a 26 gallon brew kettle. We plan to be brewing 15 gallon batches of some big, tasty West Coast Style ales and Belgian-influenced ales beginning this fall. So be ready to stop by, try some great new beers produced with love, and check out the awesome new equipment this fall!
